As we announced earlier this year, Evolve Security solidified a new partnership with VetSec, a U.S.-based, 501(c)(3) non-profit accepting active-duty, reservists, and veterans from the United States and friendly nations. VetSec is committed to helping over 3,300 veterans interested in a cyber career and secure employment.
Veterans are an important student segment we work with at Evolve Academy, and we’re committed to providing them with not only the highest quality cybersecurity training but also assistance with their cybersecurity career journeys.
We are happy to announce that the two recipients of our OSCP Bootcamp scholarships have been selected by VetSec’s Board of Directors and started with our August 1 cohort.
The Board of Directors for VetSec reviewed applications from U.S. military veterans and chose the two winners based on their technical acumen, background, and need for the resource to be able to upskill and successfully land a job in their desired field. “The candidate list was highly competitive, and I cannot thank Evolve Academy enough for sponsoring two of our members to obtain such a widely-known industry certification as the Offensive Security Certified Professional” says Tom Marsland, VetSec Chairman of the Board & CEO.
While scholarships have been awarded for the upcoming cohort, VetSec members can continue to take advantage of our $500 discount for the remainder of 2022 to be put towards the October Cybersecurity Bootcamp (not combinable with other discounts).
Our next OSCP and Cybersecurity Bootcamps are starting soon. Please link through here for more information or to schedule a chat with one of our advisors.
