About our hosts:
Lindsey Friesen is a Project and Accounts Manager with Evolve Security, having spent the past six years working in the Chicago startup scene putting out operational fires and persuading managers and executives alike to level up their security game. When not playing Tetris with projects, Lindsey's pandemic pastimes include taking on insanely difficult baking projects and running along the lakefront for blue mind therapy.

Katy Vonk is an Associate Security Engineer with Evolve Security, and an alum of both the Evolve Security Academy bootcamp and the Practical Pentesting advanced track. In 2019, she pivoted from a career in library and information science to pursue her passion for digital privacy and security. Katy is currently studying for the Offensive Security Certified Professional certification and aims to take the exam in early 2021. When she isn't grinding levels as a pentester, she gardens and hikes with her dog.
