About Joel:

Joel Coakley is an Associate Security Engineer with Evolve Security, and an alum of the Evolve Security Academy bootcamp. In 2020, he pivoted from a career as an attorney in civil litigation to the field of cybersecurity. Joel recently passed Microsoft’s AZ-500 Security Engineer Associate certification and is currently studying for the Offensive Security Certified Professional exam and plans to take it in May. When he is not studying for the OSCP, he attempts to level up his first time Dungeon Master skills for his gaming group.
